It was a beautiful summer day here in Buffalo today (no rain for once). So Jenni, Seth & I went to the Scottish Festival. It was lots of fun! We ate
Bridies (even Seth tried a little), watched the hammer throw, checked out the Scottie Rescue dogs and watched the sheep dogs work. I also found the InFamous
Welsh cookie guy and bought some Welsh Cookies (Yummy!) The pipes didn't scare Seth a bit. It was beautiful to hear 4 bagpipe bands play all at once.
Jenni bought Seth a little wooden sword and he was fascinated with it. I didn't know he was playing with it in the back seat on the way home until I heard
this little giggle, looked in my rear view mirror and saw the sword rise over the back of the seat and then he swung it around and pulled it back down again!
Needless to say, we were laughing pretty hard!
I also watched my grandson take 3 steps on his own today. He is cruising around the furniture quite well and can get up to a standing position on his own. It was exciting seeing him walk!
