Nothing new going on here. I have my next checkup next week. She is kicking a lot more, and is so much more violent than Seth was.... Guess mom might get her wish ..."I hope some day you get a daughter that's just like you!"

Well, today I woke up and my hip was in EXTREME pain. Dave had taken up the entire bed on me. so no wonder lol. It just didn't help to be limp/waddling all
day at work, while customers yelled at me. I had one guy tell me I should pay him hourly for having to wait for his food*sigh*
I honestly can't remember having hip pain like this with Seth, but I guess it comes with the territory of being pregnant for almost 2 years now. I'm wondering if it would be safe to put some icy hot on my lower back because that is killing me!

I honestly think you are carrying this baby different than you carried Seth. I had severe back/hip problems when I carried Josh. With you, it was much easier.
Just be sure before you put even topical stuff on, that you check because small amounts can be absorbed through the skin.

Jenni, you're better off with a heating pad set to low. You never want to raise your body temp too high when you're pregnant.

I'll have to buy one. I know I'm carrying this one different because I waddle so much more obviously than I did with Seth.
I got her coming home outfit the other day. Seth helped pick it out. We got her a little one piece dress/romper and a matching sunhat. I'll have to pick up some sandals or itty bitty socks for her when summer gets in swing. So far the choices are crappy. I can't wait for the rebate check to come though! I'm going to have so much fun shopping for her. I had the hardest time not buying ever "daddy's little girl" item I saw. And I'm going to have to pick up a sibling gift for Seth too soon. It's going to be a lot of him to handle at such a young age, but hopefully what I've heard is true. I heard that they forget they were ever the only one within a week.

I think he'll do fine Jenni! My kids had a harder time because they were both 4 when the sibling showed up. Mikki was 4 when Carl was born, and Carl was
almost 4 when Erika showed up. Seth is so young, it won't even phase him hopefully.

I created another baby registry today for babies r us because Dave's family asked for one. This one is listed under Jenni Wagner and David Snyder, not
Jennifer. There's not a whole heck of a lot on it, but I figured I'd share.
I'm still trying to figure out exactly what is happening when I get out of the hospital. I spent the first week at Dave's Grandmothers house with Seth, but I think I'll be coming home here with this one, and I believe Dave's mother will be coming over during the day to help out. I'm just nervous about the nights because depending on Dave's work schedule, it might only just be me here. It seems like the closer the due date gets, the more things are popping into my head. I know she won't be able to sleep in the porta crib forever, but I'm not sure when Seth will be ready for a toddler crib, so I'm debating on buying another full size crib, which I'd rather not do if it's not necessary kwim?

Jenni, she can sleep in the porta crib until she can pull up and move around a lot so you hould be all set for a bit.
Erika is 2 1/2 and she's still in a crib! No interest in climbing out so I'll keep her in it until I redo her room.

I used a play-N-pack with Sierra till she was 8 months old. She had a crib but I just could not sleep if she was not in the room. She was 2 when I put her in a
toddler bed she liked to climb. Most of the people I know say they let their little ones stay in a crib till they climbed out or almost three, so you'll
know when the right time is for your son.

I'm due August 6th ^_^
I did my 1 hour glucose screening yesterday. Still waiting on the results, but I won't be suprised if it comes back high, because after they drew my blood, the tech asked if I had eaten, and I had (last time around I didn't eat at all and almost passed out), and she said "Well it may come back high", so I might have to do the three hour screening. I hope not though.

I had my check up today and my 1 hour came back good. However, my blood pressure has become a concern yet again. The NP did my blood pressure, said it was very
high, had me lie on my left side for 10 minutes and re-did it and it went down. They said if this becomes a regular thing, I may need to go on blood pressure
medication. Other than that, good heartbeat and good size. The doctor(same one who delivered Seth), joked that if she is anything in size relation to Seth a
C-Section may be the route to take this time. I really hope not though- I don't think I could do it unless they had me knocked out.
