Oh ok, that explains it. I thought public school, I never even thought about a private school

Yeah, they go to Catholic School Soapy. Not my 1st choice, but...LOL Mike is an alumni at that school. I don't mind too much since they're getting a faith-based education. And I enjoy going to their Christmas concerts as opposed to the "Holiday Concert" at the public school.
But it's looking like public high school--the same one I went to...

That looks like the list where we used to live. I was really surprised last school year at my kid's new schools, there was alot less supplies on their lists!! I hope this year is the same!!

Yeah,my kids go to private school too(Garrett and Ethan go to small parent-controlled Christian school) but never had homework in the summer! LOL!

Oh yeah, both kids have summer work to do! Carl is going into 1st grade. He has math flash cards to color, cut out and practice and he has to read (with me) 10 books and do "reports" on them.

They go to parochial school. Very regimented--even in the summer!

WOW!! Homework during the summer! YIKES! I make Garrett read and practice times tables and stuff like that sometimes during the school holidays but that sounds like a lot!

That looks about right! Mikaela will be in 6th this year and that's pretty close to what she needs. But she needs 4 boxes of tissues and a protractor this year.

I got the list of what all I need to get for the little one to take to school for supplies- are your childrens schools this bad? She's going into the 5th grade.

1 Three ring 2" binder
8 packs of loose leaf notebook paper
8 pocket dividers for 3 ring binder with plastic zippered pockets with 3 holes for binder
1 12 pack #2 lead pencils
1 box 16 or 24 count crayons
1 box 24 count colored pencils
1 box large markers (basic colors)
