I haven't been asked to give my vacation up. The Boss put in for my vacation pay today so I will have that this next Friday (2 paychecks). I really do need the down time and I am looking forward to it.

We have a new "receptionist", if you can call her one. She is maybe 21 and has no switchboard or real reception experience, can barely use a fax machine and needed me to show her how to use the copy machine. She is a bit on the heavy side and wears low cut tops so that...

The boss is driving me crazy again. It isn't bad enough that we are understaffed, now he is catching every little thing he thinks I have done wrong and is really aggrevating me. For example, he claims he gave me a memo some time ago about how to deal with focus accounts (of course he didn't) an now because it was messed up, I am in trouble. Well it sounds as if Jenni got a decent attorney--thank goodness!

Dave may be told to sell off any "assets" but I don't know what a junker camaro will get him. Stupid for him to buy it to begin with, IMO. I say if he isn't paying any support, he shouldn't get any visitation. JMO

I can't begin to thank you enough, Debbie! These past 2 weeks have been awful as far as stress level goes. Plus the job is just making it that much worse. I am going on very little sleep and when I do my stomach churns and I toss and turn all night long. I will be glad when things here are more settled. Jenni goes to court for the custody hearing tomorrow and she has a court appointed attorney.

I told Jenni that this switching Seth every 3 days was far too disruptive to Seth and...

Patricia, Jenni seems to be doing very considering her ex is trying to make things extremely difficult for her. Plus he took everything that Jenni had gotten as shower gifts.

Who needs him? I gave her my crib, changing table, bathtub seat etc. to use so she's OK there. Let's hope the courts rule in her...

My new receptionist quit today - she had only been there a month or so. My vacay is set up for October and has been since February. I had better get it! I called off 1 time in 4 years and have had 1 week of vacay in 4 years. I need the downtime! Plus there is all the stress now with Jenni & Seth moving home and all that is involved with that.

I really want a week off, darn it!

BTW - I applied with Hospice Buffalo. I know - a lot of sadness in that, but I can draw on person experience to be able to help others and I think it is something I can do.

Dunlop gave Chuck leave over this weekend. He talked to the union steward and the next thing he knew, his supervisor came over and talked to him and told him he had the remainder of the weekend off and it would all be taken care of. Seems one of the people Chuck talked to had also lost a baby. Chuck and he were talking and Chuck told him we had also lost a 14 year old as well. It is good to know that at least one of us works for a good company.

I might get 1 day eventually, but I doubt it.

I keep waking up at 4am and feeling sick before I have to go in. I have to work an hour late today. Even worse, when I am getting going and getting a lot done, then the boss wants this and that done and nothing gets caught up. I am ready to scream when I walk out of there.

I have to find another job and quickly. Chuck is furious. Maybe even temping if I have to.

My receptionist called in and quit so taking time off wasn't an option. Even worse, I punch out for lunch and pretty much work right through it - we have been that busy.
