We do a prayer at the beginning of our meal, but I know a lot of people go around the table and say what they give thanks for.

Are you hosting? Going to a relative's house? Maybe a restaurant?

Silly me is hosting again this year. Yes, it's a lot of work, but I really enjoy having my family around during the holidays.

Daughter says she's too old for trick or treat

I asked my daughter the other day if she had decided yet what she was going to be for Halloween, and she informed me that she's not going that it's "kinda baby." I was surprised because she always enjoyed trick or treat and this was the first I heard that she thought it was too young for her. She's 13 and in 7th grade. Is this the age they stop going? There's quite an assortment of hauntings/legends here in western NY. Here's a sample:
