Well, since my physical the other day, I'm on a serious quest to drop the pounds and firm up. So I've been really good about not snacking and eating healthy. I hope that by keeping a journal, I'll keep myself accountable.

Boy whose religious parents battled hospital dies

NEW YORK(AP) A 12-year-old New York boy with brain cancer has died after his family battled a hospital to keep him on a ventilator.

The lawyer for the Orthodox Jewish family says Motl Brody's bodily functions ceased Saturday. A machine had continued to work his lungs after he was pronounced dead Nov. 4 at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

The boy had already been declared brain dead, but some adherents of Jewish religious law say death occurs...

Well, she was the receptionist. Now she is moving to the night clerk's job. Right now she works from 6am to 2:30pm. I knew something was "off" about her immediately. I was right dead on. I kept noticing these little "behaviors" - touching something 3 times.... She has OCD and she admitted it to me. This is the 2nd receptionist we have had with OCD.

Far worse, she likes to exhibit herself. She is on the heavy side and wears these super low cut tops (not...

So yesterday, the day care calls me on my cell at work. Erika has a temp--102--and I need to pick her up. So I left work, picked her up & brought her home. I put her in PJs, gave her some clear Gatorade and crackers. She was sick 2X--both times right after I gave her Tylenol for the fever. So I just figured "to heck with that!" and I let the fever run its' course. By bedtime it was at 99 and this morning it was normal.

So today, she's watching Dora and I'm...
